Sticking 100% to protocol has been up and down with me this past week. Not that I've eaten terrible, or eaten things that are considered "banned"... There has just been no consistency to my days. I think there was even one day this week where I didn't eat anything until about 8pm... I mean, that's not good and despite the fact that you think it might help you drop weight faster, it doesn't. To be perfectly honest I have been having a few organic crackers the past couple days. In the past these haven't effected me, but maybe I need to consider cutting them out all together for the near future.
I got off easy this week in terms of exercise. I was supposed to have volleyball practice on Thursday, but because of the snow it was canceled. I may start implementing a workout this weekend though. I have to get serious with this volleyball stuff because my team recently decided to attend Nationals, which means I'll be playing a different position than what I'm used to...which means I need to get into better shape!
Overall here are my results:
Weight lost: 15.3lbs
Eh...I'm not all that impressed with myself to be honest. I think I should be doing better than this...
Oh! And there is a potential hurdle on the horizon! My team is being formally turned into our own division with the company. This means our CEO would like us to have a big party to celebrate, and of course they have selected a date within my hcg timeline...February 18. We're talking open bar, buffet style, sundae bar type extravaganza. I think I might just have to budget this one into the schedule. I have little, to no confidence in me being able to attend and not participate.
Thoughts?

The much awaited "update"!
Ok, so I said I was going to start again on January 17th, and I did... It was a holiday from work so it was nice to spend the whole day gorging :) This gorge was definitely not as impressive as those past, but I guess it got the job done.
I had an offsite office retreat on the 18th and 19th, so i was able to gorge one of those days and then get on protocol the other. I thought there may have been some problems with this initially since I was anticipating office mates wanting to eat together. It wasn't though, so I'm thankful for that.
First day of actual weight loss I was down 6.3lbs. That's right ladies and gentlemen....six.... (insert smug smile here) That pretty much took care of a good chunk of the gorge weight I had put on. Next day, weight loss of 3.9lbs. And that brings us to this morning with a measley loss of 0.6lbs. I ate perfect every day with the exception of the third where I was sneeking a few crackers.
Today I had a volleyball tournament, and I was unusually nervous about playing an all day tournament while sticking to the protocol. I think I did pretty well though! I had my morning coffee and apple, arrived to play my first match of volleyball, ate another apple before my second match, chowed down on my 100grams of chicken before the third. After the third match I was feeling light headed, and pretty weak. I could feel my legs no longer wanting to do what I told them... I had packed some emergency food in case something like this happened. Sticking to protocol is one thing, but I also play all the way around on my volleyball team. In laymans terms, I don't get subbed out of the game. I play front row, back row, serve, defense... I wasn't ever permitted to do this in college because I was considered a "front row specialist". That being said, my team depends on me, and if I felt my game slipping today because I had no energy I wanted to be able to address it, and under my terms. So I packed some organic trail mix and a few crackers. I ate some of both, and it really gave me the strength and energy I need to play the fourth match and then ultimately playoffs. So overall it was a pretty slim menu that supported 12 games of volleyball! (1 match = 3 games to 25 points)
Tomorrow it's back to the grocery store and back to the protocol!
Weight lost: 10.8lbs

Waiting....and waiting....
Tick tock, Tick tock....
I'm ready to start the HCG, especially after reading everyone's blogs! But I really need to wait for the date I picked to start otherwise I'll be setting myself up for disappointment.
*sigh*
Everyone keep posting so I can live vicariously through you all!!
